When they win

We are not the right fit for everyone.

  • You want one CRM, marketing, sales and service suite from one vendor.
  • You need a large partner ecosystem and enterprise governance.
  • Your team is already standardized on HubSpot.

When LoopNow wins

You want one bill for email, WhatsApp, voice, workflow and GEO; Indian-language support; DPDP consent records; and AWS Mumbai residency.

The short version

  • HubSpot is a broad CRM suite covering marketing, sales and service. LoopNow is a runtime that connects to the CRM you already run instead of replacing it.
  • LoopNow does not sell a CRM. It writes agent outcomes into HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce or Freshsales and keeps the channel work in a layer built for it.
  • WhatsApp and voice agents are add-ons inside HubSpot and first-class channels in LoopNow, where they are included in the plan.
  • HubSpot wins when you need one suite, a large partner ecosystem and enterprise governance. LoopNow wins when the CRM is healthy and the execution layer is the gap.

A suite and a runtime solve different problems

HubSpot’s argument is integration by ownership. Marketing, sales, service and a CRM share one object model, one contact record and one reporting layer, and the value comes from never having to reconcile two systems. That argument is strong, and it is the reason the company grew from an inbound marketing tool into a platform that many revenue teams treat as their operating system. When the whole go-to-market motion lives in one suite, the seams disappear, and the seams are where most operational pain hides.

LoopNow’s argument is integration by interface. It assumes your CRM is already the system of record and that replacing it would cost more than it returns, so it connects instead, writes structured outcomes back, and handles the channel work in a runtime designed for conversations, consent and execution. That makes LoopNow a smaller purchase and a smaller commitment. It also means LoopNow cannot fix a CRM problem, and if your pipeline process is the actual issue, a connector will make the mess faster rather than smaller.

Figure 1. The six rows that decide the conversation, checked on 4 November 2026. The first row is the strategic one: replace the CRM, or connect to it.

Why connecting beats replacing, until it does not

A CRM replacement is one of the most expensive projects a revenue team can start. It touches data hygiene, pipeline definitions, attribution, forecasting, commissions and the habits of every salesperson. The software licence is rarely the largest line. When a CRM is two years old, configured with care and trusted by the team, the expected return on replacing it is close to zero, and the risk is concentrated in the quarter you go live. That is the situation where connecting is obviously correct.

Connecting stops being correct when the CRM is the problem. If the object model cannot represent how you sell, if reporting requires exports and a spreadsheet every Monday, if the team avoids the tool rather than using it, then adding an agent layer automates workarounds. A runtime writing into a broken pipeline produces broken records faster. Before you buy anything, decide which of those two situations you are in, because it changes the entire shortlist and it is a question no vendor can answer for you.

A decision diagram asks whether the CRM is trusted, and routes to a runtime integration, a CRM replacement or a process fix. Is the CRM trusted by the team? decision Yes, well configured Connect a runtime No, workarounds Fix or replace CRM Mixed by team Start with one team
Figure 2. The first question is not which platform to buy. It is whether the system of record deserves to be the system of record.

Email: Marketing Hub against an included allowance

HubSpot sends email through Marketing Hub, which is a mature product with templates, workflows, segmentation and reporting tied to the CRM record. That tie is the advantage: a campaign can branch on deal stage, and a reply can create a task for the owner without an integration. For a team already living inside HubSpot, moving email out would break that loop, and the breakage is a cost that rarely appears in a licence comparison.

LoopNow includes marketing email and transactional sending with an allowance on each plan: 25,000 emails on Starter, 1,00,000 on Growth, 5,00,000 on Scale, and ₹0.03 per delivered email beyond that. It is a competent campaign product, not a deeper one than Marketing Hub, and we would not claim otherwise. The reason to use it is proximity to WhatsApp and voice: the same contact, the same consent purpose and the same workflow, with the CRM still receiving the outcome through the connector.

Figure 3. Where LoopNow sits when HubSpot stays. The CRM owns the record; the runtime owns the conversation, the consent check and the execution.

WhatsApp is an add-on in one and a channel in the other

In HubSpot, WhatsApp arrives as an add-on according to the rows we checked, which is consistent with a suite that grew up around email and a CRM. In LoopNow it is a first-class channel: official Business API, AI replies, an inbox, human handoff and message allowances on every plan, from 250 messages on free to 20,000 on Scale. The functional difference is not whether you can send a template. It is whether the reply has somewhere to live and whether the consent state travels with it.

For an Indian business, that difference is usually decisive. A WhatsApp message that lands in a shared phone is not a channel, it is a liability, and a message whose reply is invisible to the CRM is a follow-up that will be missed. LoopNow keeps the conversation, the transcript and the outcome in one place and writes the record back to HubSpot. If your WhatsApp volume is small and email is the main motion, the add-on may be enough and cheaper than a second platform.

A WhatsApp reply is classified by an agent, an outcome is written back to the CRM, and consent is updated on the same contact. 1 Template sent 2 Reply arrives 3 Agent classifies 4 CRM updated 5 Follow-up queued
Figure 4. The loop that matters: message, reply, decision, CRM write-back. A sending integration stops at the second box; a channel runtime closes the loop.

Voice agents: add-on against native

HubSpot’s voice capability is an add-on in our comparison, and LoopNow runs voice agents as part of the runtime in fourteen Indian languages. The distinction that matters is not the feature but the trigger. A call that starts because a WhatsApp message went unanswered, uses the language the customer replied in, and writes the outcome to the same contact is a workflow. A call that has to be initiated by a person from a list is a task. Indian revenue teams spend a lot of time on the second kind, and that is where a native channel changes the unit economics.

Quality is the caveat, and it is a serious one. Fourteen languages is coverage, not fluency, and a voice agent that mispronounces a locality or mishears an amount is worse than no call. Test with recordings of your own customers before you put a number in a plan. If voice is a small part of your motion, the HubSpot add-on may be sufficient and simpler to procure. If outbound calls are the step that converts, a native channel with a handoff and a transcript is worth the switch.

A voice follow-up timeline runs from an unanswered WhatsApp message to an automated call and a CRM outcome. Hour 0 WhatsApp template delivered, no reply Workflow starts Hour 4 Voice agent places the call Language from reply Hour 4 Call outcome classified Booked or not Hour 5 CRM record updated Owner notified Day 2 Second attempt or close Policy decides
Figure 5. A follow-up that runs itself: unanswered message, call in the same language, outcome recorded. The value is the automation of the trigger, not the call itself.

Time to value: a workflow or an implementation

HubSpot implementations are projects because the suite is large. Configuration, data migration, property mapping, workflow design, training and adoption all take time, and the partner ecosystem exists partly because that work is substantial. A well-run implementation produces a strong operating system for a revenue team. A poorly run one produces an expensive CRM that nobody trusts, which is a common and expensive outcome.

LoopNow quotes one workflow in about ten days, with a 48-hour target for a simple first workflow and a typical migration of contacts and templates done for you. That is a smaller promise on purpose. One workflow, one owner, one measurable outcome, then a second workflow. It is not a suite implementation and it will not reorganise your go-to-market motion. If you need the reorganisation, buy the suite and hire the partner. If you need one process to stop leaking revenue, a ten-day start is the more useful unit.

Figure 6. Seats included by plan on LoopNow. Verify the current edition and seat model with HubSpot, then compare your actual user count against both quotes before assuming either option is cheaper.

Billing, seats and the rupee question

HubSpot bills in USD or INR depending on the entity and the contract, usually by card. Beyond the currency, verify the current edition and seat model with HubSpot rather than from this page, because the variable that surprises teams is the number of people who need access: a plan that looks reasonable for five users is a different decision at forty. Ask for the three-year projection at your real headcount, not the year-one price, and ask what changes when you cross an edition boundary.

LoopNow bills in rupees with a GST invoice on every payment and accepts UPI, cards, netbanking and NEFT for annual plans, with seats bundled into the plan rather than charged separately: 2 on free, 5 on Starter, 15 on Growth and 40 on Scale. All prices are exclusive of 18% GST and the spend cap is on by default. For a finance team, the difference is a predictable line item rather than a number that moves every time someone is hired.

Four billing factors are mapped for a revenue team: currency, seat model, tax invoice and renewal terms. Currency INR or USD Seat model Bundled in plan Tax GST invoice Renewal Annual uplift
Figure 7. The billing questions that decide the second-year cost. Seat growth is the variable most often underestimated in a suite purchase.

The CRM stays the system of record

One design decision matters more than any feature row: LoopNow treats the CRM as authoritative. Contacts, owners, deal stages and pipeline values stay where the revenue team manages them, and the runtime reads what it needs and writes outcomes back. That means no duplicate contact records competing for truth, no second pipeline that finance does not trust, and no migration of historical deals. It also means the integration has to be good, because a runtime that writes badly into a CRM is worse than no automation.

In practice the connector covers contact creation and enrichment, activity logging, deal and task updates, and consent state, with signed webhooks for anything custom. The work is in mapping: which fields the agent may write, which it may only read, and what happens when a write fails. Do that mapping in the first week, with the sales operations owner in the room, and the ten-day estimate survives. Skip it and the integration becomes the project, which is a failure mode we see often enough to warn about.

Figure 8. Field mapping is the real integration work. Decide which properties the agent may write before the first run, not after the first bad record.

Residency, DPDP and a global suite

A global suite brings a global data architecture, and the residency answer depends on the region you contract in rather than on the product name. Ask HubSpot where your data is stored, where backups live and which sub-processors touch it, and get the answer for your specific subscription and region. LoopNow’s answer is simpler to state: primary storage and processing in AWS Mumbai, ap-south-1, with a published sub-processor list and a data processing agreement available for review.

On DPDP specifically, LoopNow keeps a consent ledger per contact and per purpose, enforces suppression across channels, runs retention sweeps and exports the audit trail, and describes itself as DPDP-ready rather than certified. HubSpot’s compliance programme is mature and global, but DPDP evidence is not the same artefact as GDPR evidence, and the shape of the export is what an Indian reviewer will examine. If your legal team has already approved HubSpot for India, that decision stands; if not, run the same questionnaire against both.

Four parts of a compliance answer are compared: storage region, backup region, sub-processors and consent evidence. LoopNow runtime Primary region Contract-specific Backups Ask separately Sub-processors Published list Consent export Shape matters
Figure 9. Four questions that decide a residency review. A global suite can answer all four, but the answers vary by contract region and must be requested in writing.

Migration risk when the CRM is the hard part

The migration risk in this comparison is asymmetric. Moving from HubSpot to another suite means migrating the CRM, which is the expensive, risky project. Adding LoopNow beside HubSpot means integrating a runtime, which is a bounded piece of work with a clear rollback: disconnect the connector and the CRM is unchanged. That asymmetry is the strongest practical argument for the connecting model, and it holds even if LoopNow is later replaced by something else.

The risk that remains is data quality. An agent that writes a wrong deal stage or creates duplicate contacts does damage that takes longer to clean than the automation saved. Mitigate it with read-only mode for the first fortnight, a narrow set of writable fields, and a weekly review of what the agent changed. That is unglamorous work, and it is the difference between an integration that survives its first quarter and one that gets switched off after a bad month.

A side-by-side comparison of migration risk for replacing a CRM versus adding a runtime beside it. Replace the CRM Add a runtime • Historical deals migrate• Pipeline rules rebuilt• Team retrained• Attribution re-baselined• Rollback is hard • CRM unchanged• One connector to map• Channel work isolated• Rollback is a switch• Value in ten days
Figure 10. Two projects with very different blast radius. The right-hand column is reversible in an afternoon; the left-hand column is a quarter of someone’s year.

The lock-in comparison follows the same asymmetry. HubSpot’s lock-in is structural and mostly acceptable: custom objects, properties, workflows and historical activity live in the platform, and an export gives you the records but not the automation logic. That is true of every CRM and it is why replacements are rare. It is worth accepting when the suite genuinely runs your revenue motion, because the alternative is rebuilding that motion every few years.

LoopNow’s lock-in is concentrated in workflow and agent definitions, which export as JSON along with contacts, consent state, templates and run traces. The CRM data is not ours to hold, which removes the largest source of switching cost. What cannot be exported is the managed behaviour: the metering, the deliverability monitoring and the consent enforcement. Smaller is not zero, and a buyer should price the difference rather than assume it away.

Teams that should stay on HubSpot

Stay on HubSpot if you are buying your first serious revenue system and want marketing, sales and service to share one object model from day one. Stay if you need a large partner ecosystem to implement and run the platform, because that ecosystem is real and it is a form of insurance. Stay if enterprise governance, approval chains and a single vendor relationship matter more than the cost of the suite, and stay if your team is already trained and productive inside it.

Stay, too, if the gap you are trying to close is a CRM gap rather than a channel gap. A runtime cannot fix forecasting, pipeline hygiene or a sales process that nobody follows. Those problems need a CRM project, and buying an agent layer to avoid that project is a way of spending money to postpone a decision. We would rather lose the deal than be the reason a CRM problem went unfixed for another year.

A side-by-side list shows which situations favour HubSpot and which favour adding LoopNow. Stay with HubSpot when Add LoopNow when • First revenue system• One suite, one vendor• Partner-led implementation• Enterprise governance• CRM is the gap • CRM already trusted• WhatsApp is a channel• Indian-language voice• Execution is the gap• Ten days to value
Figure 11. The split is by gap, not by company size. Both columns can be true at once, which is why many teams end up running both.

Teams that should run both

The most common outcome of this comparison is not a switch, it is a split. HubSpot stays as the CRM and the email system of record for the sales team, and LoopNow runs WhatsApp, voice and the workflows that stitch them together, writing outcomes back through the connector. The revenue team keeps its pipeline, the support team gets a real inbox, and finance gets one rupee invoice for the channel layer. That is a boring answer, and boring is usually correct for infrastructure.

The split only works with an explicit boundary. Decide which system owns consent for which channel, which one sends the campaign, and which one is authoritative when the two disagree. Write it down and give it an owner. Teams that skip this step end up with two suppression lists and a customer who unsubscribed in one place and is still receiving messages from the other. That failure is not a product defect; it is an architecture that nobody drew.

A decision diagram routes teams to HubSpot alone, LoopNow alone or both, depending on CRM health and channel needs. Where is the gap: CRM or channels? decision CRM gap Fix the suite first Channel gap Add the runtime Both, in sequence CRM first, then runtime
Figure 12. The three outcomes this comparison actually produces. The middle path is the most common and needs the most deliberate boundary work.

Frequently asked questions

Does LoopNow replace HubSpot?

No. LoopNow is not a CRM and does not try to be one. It connects to HubSpot and writes contact, activity, deal and consent updates back to it. If you are looking for a CRM replacement, this is the wrong page. If you want WhatsApp, voice and workflow execution layered onto a CRM you already trust, that is exactly the shape of the product.

Which is cheaper, HubSpot or LoopNow?

They are not comparable line for line. HubSpot bills in USD or INR depending on the entity and the contract, usually by card, and its edition and seat model should be verified with HubSpot directly; LoopNow prices plans from ₹2,999 to ₹24,999 a month plus GST with seats bundled. If you already pay for HubSpot, the honest comparison is the cost of the WhatsApp and voice add-ons plus implementation against a LoopNow plan. Price both at your real headcount.

Can I use LoopNow without any CRM?

Yes, but you lose part of the value. LoopNow keeps contacts and conversations, so a small team can run without a CRM for a while. The design assumes a system of record exists, and the workflows are more useful when outcomes land somewhere your sales team already looks. If you have no CRM, fix that first or buy a suite.

How does the HubSpot connector work?

LoopNow reads the contact and deal context it needs, then writes back activities, outcomes and consent state, with signed webhooks for custom cases. The configuration work is field mapping: deciding which properties the agent may write and which it may only read. Do that with your sales operations owner in the first week, and test in read-only mode before anything writes.

Is WhatsApp available inside HubSpot?

Our comparison records WhatsApp as an add-on in HubSpot and a first-class channel in LoopNow, where it is included with message allowances on every plan. If your WhatsApp volume is small, the add-on may be sufficient. If WhatsApp is where customers reply, check where those replies live and whether the consent state reaches the CRM record.

What about voice agents in Indian languages?

LoopNow runs voice agents in fourteen Indian languages, including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali, with handling for code-mixed Hinglish, and includes minutes on every paid plan. HubSpot offers voice as an add-on according to the rows we checked. Test both with recordings of your own customers, because language coverage and call quality are different claims.

How long does it take to go live with LoopNow?

One workflow in about ten days is the normal estimate, with a 48-hour target for a simple first workflow and a typical migration of contacts and templates done for you. A HubSpot implementation is a larger project because it covers the whole revenue motion. If you need the suite configured, budget the partner time; the two timelines are not substitutes.

Where is the data stored?

LoopNow stores and processes primary data in AWS Mumbai, ap-south-1, publishes a sub-processor list and makes a data processing agreement available. HubSpot’s residency answer depends on the region you contract in, so ask for it against your specific subscription. If your legal team has already approved HubSpot for India, keep that approval and add the LoopNow review separately.

Can we start with LoopNow and add HubSpot later?

Yes, and it is a reasonable sequence for a small team: put the channel work in a runtime first, then adopt a CRM when the pipeline justifies it. The risk is that contacts accumulate in the runtime and the migration to a CRM later becomes its own project. Keep exports clean and decide the system of record before you have a thousand records to move.
